Geneva: Concepts Abound: 16 from the skunk works

The 79th Salon International de L'Automobile opened last weekend in Geneva, Switzerland, complete with its typical bevy of often beautiful and often strange concept cars.

We've taken a close look at the Hyundai ix-onic Concept, which is tentatively scheduled for production later this calendar year. Given Hyundai's continued ability to escape the sales doldrums, expect the Korean automaker to keep the heat on with eye-candy models like this one.
