Bill King has worn many hats over his 50 years in the business of cars and motor racing - journalist, publicist, web site manager, publisher, special projects director for media companies and motorsports sanctioning bodies, sponsor rep, race track designer, professional race series administrator, race official, middling race driver, better racing instructor and business development manager for engineering companies. "I'm always looking for new challenges."

This particular challenge - managing editor for OnCars.com's written content - brings him back to another Paul Pfanner project. Pfanner created Racer Communications where King was a RACER magazine senior editor, developed upscale event programs for Penske Speedways, launched Racer.com and was general manager for Speedvision.com - a RACER contract project.

In a previous life, King was a Research Meteorologist with a BS in that field from the University of Oklahoma. He resides in Charlotte, NC, with Gloria, his wife of 38 years and Ginger, his Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever of 11 years.
