Terry Lingner, President, Lingner Group Productions
Terry Lingner has been recognized for his "innovation and creativity" by winning three Emmy awards for his work. Terry's first Emmy came as coordinating producer for ESPN's First Sports Series in 1989. Lingner Group was recognized in 1991 with a second Emmy for outstanding technical achievement for "Point of View" technology involving a camera mounted in the racing surface at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Since being formed in 1989, Lingner Group has produced many ESPN programs including: "Saturday Night Thunder," "Great Outdoor Games", "Billiards", and "the Indianapolis 500". Terry produced NBC's Olympic coverage of Rowing from Lake Lanier in 1996 and earned his third Emmy for "Outstanding Live Event Turnaround". He also was the Executive Producer for programs airing on "SPEED": "The Rolex 24", "Barrett Jackson Classic Car Auction" and the "24 Hours of LeMans".

Not content to only produce and direct, Terry Lingner has accomplished a grand slam of sorts in sports car racing. In the past, Lingner has competed in the 24 Hours of LeMans, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and the Porsche Supercup at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

He graduated from Ball State with a Radio-TV-Film degree in 1976, and was the recipient of the 1989 AERho Distinguished Alumni award.
