All-Wheel-Drive is the perfect solution for safe winter driving

AWD Lincoln MKS
Base Price: $41,105

All new for ’2009, the flagship MKS uses a new 3.7-liter DOHC V6 with variable valve and cam timing. Making 273 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque (using regular fuel), it gets 16/23 mpg. The 6-speed automatic is a Lincoln first.

Strengths are distinctive styling with stainless steel side strips and a double-wing grille inspired by pre-war Lincolns; large rear door openings and a big trunk; standard double-stitched leather and optional ebony wood reclaimed from furniture makers; 5-star crash ratings with Boron steel pillars and beams; and loads of high-tech features.

It's a traditional Lincoln for modern times. Biggest and roomiest of these five, it's limo-like on the freeway; however, unlike the LS it replaces, it's no sport sedan. Also consider, the 2010 MKS will debut Ford's highly anticipated EcoBoost twin-turbo V6, with more power and fuel economy.
