The holiday season is always a time of reflection, and at OnCars our reflections are pretty focused on exactly what you would expect: cars. In looking back at all the cars we've driven this year, there have been the great and the ordinary, the exciting and the bland and the luxurious and the economical.

But which ones were the All Stars? Which cars were versatile enough for daily driving and yet exciting enough to get the enthusiast's heart racing? For reasons of price and/or practicality, some of our favorites like the Nissan GT-R and the Audi R8 have been left out. We've focused on cars the average person can use every day. That means back seats are included and luxury pricing is not. These are cars we would buy for ourselves or recommend to friends and family.
