Call this a farewell to the 350Z, supplanted by the totally redesigned 370Z.

Displaced or not, the 350Z makes our list. Fond memories from 700 miles in two days in a 350Z Roadster over remote roads in gorgeous weather, driving the Z as it was meant to be driven. We've also done laps on the long and fast Willow Springs road course in a 350Z NISMO with track-ready suspension, brakes, exhaust and aerodynamics. For about the same price as the Roadster, the Nismo inspires confidence at the limit.

A close-ratio 6-speed gearbox is standard. The optional responsive 5-speed automatic sounds neat when it blips the engine at aggressive downshifts, but it lowers the redline; why lose the joy of hearing 7500 rpm in full raspy roar?
